We are really happy to announce that Velvet Hall Alpacas will be holding it’s first beach trek at Yellowcraig Beach. The alpaca beach trek will be held on Saturday 18th June 2016 just a couple of miles outside North Berwick.
The morning trek will set of at 10:00am and the afternoon trek will set of at 2:00pm. Can you please get to the meeting point about 15 minutes before we set of, to allow us to go through some health and safety, general instructions and meet the boys of course? The trek will last a minimum 1 and ½ hours.
Depending on the sea conditions, some of the alpacas like to go for a paddle if it’s calm, so please wear appropriate footwear, and think about a change of clothing should you get wet. There are showers at the public toilets should you require them.
Whether the tide is low or high, we will be trekking along the water’s edge, but again this will depend on the condition of the surf.
As usual, you can take as many pictures as you want, and we will have some carrots to feed the boys on our return. You are more than welcome to spend as much time as you want with the alpacas on our return.
WE ONLY HAVE 2 PLACES LEFT FOR THE MORNING TREK. Should you be interested in joining us please email or call Jean.
