The Perfect Guest Appearance
Velvet Hall Alpacas have 10 boys of various colours that are invited guests at weddings. We have traditional white, light fawn, brown through to black. We do encourage couples to come and meet all the boys first as this allows them to choose their favourites.
The alpacas are used primarily as ring bearers, where they have a collar, bowtie and velvet pouch around their necks. The rings are placed in a velvet pouch and delivered by the boys as they are walked down the aisle to take part in the ceremony.
After the ceremony they are happy to be part of the official photography whether in doors or outside in the gardens. The bride and groom can then walk them around where they can mingle and be introduced to their guests.
If there are any children at the wedding they can also take the boys for a walk and feed them carrots (their favourite treat). We will fit around the bride and grooms requirements, but on average the boys are at the wedding for around 4 hours.
If you have any special requirements we are happy to discuss this and where possible meet your aspirations.
